Leatherman Wingman Multitool

"This multitool is compact, extremely well-made, versatile, and functional. It is a great vakue for the price paid considering the build quality and reliability. It us the best pocket multitool, in my opinion. I have several Leatherman multitools, in my vehicle, in my home, on my person, and I give them a gifts. They are the best on the market."

My wingman

"I deliver fuel and to have my wingman is a game changer for me. It helps me get into my main fuse box and I’m able to work on my meter on the fly. It helps me change my gaskets in my nozzle and hoses. It’s a nice addition to my EDC"

Piece of mind for general tasks

"The leatherman Wingman is an excellent piece of hardware for most tasks one might face."

My Wongman

"Compared to the first basic Leatherman I bought in 1988, this Leatherman is an improvement, especially when it comes to using the pliers. The clip is also very handy."

Favorite Multitool

"Saw this recommended by ***tacticoolgear.*** and they weren't lying. This has everything I use all the time without being bulky with things I don't use. The craftmanship is beautiful."

1st Class

"No doubt 1st Class & elite in quality within the multitool community. My only caveat is how heavy my Wingman is that makes it really difficult to EDC."

Great EDC tool!

"I received a Wingman many years ago as a gift, and carry it every day. It’s quite useful, and has just enough tools options that it covers most situations that occur in normal life. The size is just right, and basically disappears when worn (I clip mine in the corner of a front pocket). I like the Wingman so much, that this purchase is a gift for my eldest daughter."

Disappointing durability after only 10 months

"I bought the Wingman to live in my pocket, and for the first few months I really liked it. I carry it every day and use it for normal tasks around the house, but it has never been heavily abused, excessively dirty, submerged, or exposed to unusual amounts of water. After about six months, part of the tool broke and the pocket clip would no longer stay secure. Leatherman eventually sent me a replacement clip after initially suggesting that I purchase one myself. Now, less than ten months after buying it, the Wingman is rusting badly—especially around the hinges and pivot points. The corrosion has become severe enough that several of the tools are difficult to open and use. The only regular moisture exposure it receives is what you would expect from being carried in a pocket. For a multitool at this price, and from a company with Leatherman’s reputation, this has been a huge disappointment. I have carried other pocket knives in the same conditions and have never had one rust like this. I genuinely enjoyed the Wingman when it was new and used it every day, but a broken clip followed by significant rust in under a year makes it very difficult to recommend."
