Solid high quality

"High vis handle, very sharp knife, superb construction quality in all attachments. Thoughtful selection. You can quibble re can opener inclusion, but check out Sergio the Serb bushcraft: you can cut open old cans to make useful enough stuff. All those tools give it some weight, but , better to have it and not need it then the alternative."

Wave alpha review

"The tool is very well made and has the tools needed. I bought it for my granddaughter for a college graduation gift to use in her new career. She is an animal keeper at a zoo, and has found many uses for the tool since day one on her job. First Use, Still Testing

"The new scissors are a great improvement for me as I use them a lot on sailboats where we often need on the spot sail repairs, and scossors are neccessary. The G10 handle provides a stronger more comfortable grip on the pliers, which is genarally a shortcoming with all multi-tools, but I need a lot more usage over time to rate how well that is working. Altogether the orange color is great, less likely to lose or drop overboard, easier to fin if dropped in snow, or get confused with someone walking off with it after borrowing it! All of which have happend to me and resulted with another leatherman gone!"

Alpha

"Liked the original Wave. Had one since they came out. About 20 years. The Alpha version is a definite improvement. Worth the cost. Having the knife, scissors, file & saw accessible without opening the handles is wonderful. Handle improvements are much appreciated. The anti pinch feature is what sold me. I threw a competitors away after using it ONCE because of the severe blood blister it gave me on my palm. Congratulations Leatherman on the new Alpha design and features."

"I use it every day at work. Don’t know what I would do without it. I work for the Solid Waste Division for the city , finding lead batteries in kid toys and scooters. Batteries are not allowed at the landfill. My wave alpha is way better than having a pocket full of tools."
